Cities and GLiFS: two collections built from a shared mark making system.

Efdot began drawing in his “open lines” style in 2019. These two bodies of work capture a period of deep creative exploration with abstract-figurative mark making and collector participation.

Working alongside generative artist Diid, Cities released on Art Blocks in May 2025.

In June 2026, the Efdot released GLiFS, a long form animation collab native to the blockchain, inviting collectors to arrange symbols across compositions.

Together, the pairings of Cities and GLiFS show just how far a visual language can be pushed, and viewed through entirely different lenses.
