Formation Skateboards  X  Federal Donuts

Formation Skateboards works with Philadelphia artists to make and distribute limited edition skate decks. For the release of artist NoseGo's new graphic in May 2013, Formation partnered up with Federal Donuts to host a one-night-only Pop Up Shop at their South Philly location. Among the festivities was a special donut created for the event.

Design Process

For the poster design, I wanted focused on communicating the two most appealing aspects of the event: skateboards and donuts.

All of the type was rendered by hand and then digitally colored.
