"Respect the Coffee Gods"
Perk is a cozy little cafe located in East Midtown NYC, serving up fine Stumptown coffee for busy New Yorkers. After their opening in 2014, I was approached to design their drink menu board, as well as a custom lettering piece to frame for their wall.
Their motto, "Respect the Coffee Gods" came from a slightly sarcastic statement about how good baristas don't get enough respect or recognition (nor tips).
In keeping with the vintage theme, this piece was rendered using one-shot enamel and reproduced on t-shirts for sale.
